Back in 2019 I began my comic strip, which is entitled Monians. That tale is collected on my other sites.
After all, painting is something you can really sink your teeth into. So, I have dug out my old paints, and even acquired some new ones.
Cavemen did painting, very seriously. That's something I can agree with. Art, is like a dog chasing a lion. It is better to be a living dog than a dead lion.
Everybody wants to run, but if you paint, you will be running in place. Some prefer watercolors, for their ease of use and clean up. Others prefer acrylics.
In my early days, i prefered the humble pencil, and i colored in with colored pencils. I then developed an aversion to coloring, due to its use as punishment in the skools.
But i realized, after conferring with my paint book of Monet, that you really can use colors. But I am not going out on a limb with oil paints, for that is truly ambitious.
In 2014 I enjoyed making digital paintings in MS Paint. Now we have JS Paint, an online simulation of the Windows 90's version of that program.
Digital art can be funny, it can be humorous. It can be crazy, and outlandish. But most of all, it ought to deliver the message, that Life, after all, Is full of Great Meaning. People say, where is my painting? That is, everyone wants to make their Own painting. Everyone wants to be Somebody. So, take up thy brush and walk.
Guy Clark's wife Susanna never washed a paint brush. But I admit, i have rewashed my paint brushes at least a million times. Or a billion, give or take a few zeros.
Some say I paint like Paul Klee. Am I a Swiss Franc painter? Not yet, but given time, I may become the next Thomas Mann, dancing on the Magic Mountain.

Well, Jung proved, that art imitates life, or, that psychiatric patients will paint their inner lives. So, Freud had to quit giving out cocaine, and take up painting.
If A.I. is the new tool of madness, then painting, is a primitive's vacation, and craziness will have become the new sanity.

Running to stand with the Hold Out, with Jackson Brown, where the wild men roll out on the freeway, blustering huge motor cycles with gusto.
Poetry becomes the new logic of feeling, so circular logic becomes another way to live.
To quote Marshall McLuhan, the media, is the Massage. It massages our minds daily, in order to Teach us how to Live in an Electric test tube Village.
It is said, God chooses the foolish things of this Earth to deliver his Message. So, let all things go where they may, that they may deliver their Message.
Paintings is what I have planned for here, because, you are what you do. And, I lately have certainly thrown myself into painting, because, it seemed the right thing to do.
